WELCOME TO RAK KHOR PORT
RAK Khor Port was founded by the late HH Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, in 2004. The port has been developed to be one of the Emirate’s ports for the handling of general cargoes, transhipment cargo, and the storage and distribution of imports from the GCC, East Africa and Indian Subcontinent..
Strategically positioned close to the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz in the northern Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, the port is in the heart of the city - ideally placed for access to all the industrial areas and free zones of Al Hamra Al Jazeera, Al Ghayl, Hulayla Island and Khor Kwair.
Located at the entrance to the Ras Al Khaimah creek, RAK Khor Port is a unique city centre port. With the increasing interest in leisure activities in the Northern Emirates, the port now provides access to a new passenger cruise terminal. This new passenger and tourist facility is able to process UAE Visa applications, and provide Immigration clearance to arriving and departing passengers. This new tourist gateway provides easy access to a range of 5 star beach and desert hotels and spas, two international standard grass golf courses, and has access to the beginning of the E311 Emirates Road.
